Cytoplasm:

 Cytoplasm forms the greater part of the cell.It includes all the protoplasm between the spherical nucleus and the cell membrane.It consists of a semifluid medium called the cystol, in which are suspended organelles of specialized form and function. Important cell organelles which are suspended in the cytoplasm are as follows: mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, ribosomes, golgi bodies, vacuoles, chloroplasts (found only in plant cells) etc.
